Senior Manager, Regional Distr

The Senior RDC Manager is responsible for inventory and warehouse management, on time delivery (Shipping and Receiving) and relationship management within the RDC. Monitors the shipping and inbound receiving to ensure the products are delivered in a safe, secure, accurate and timely manner.  Establishes and controls standards of preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and replacement and damage prevention. Manage the work efforts of a staff with responsibility for staffing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.  Under the guidance of the Global Distribution and Logistics Director, help shape distribution strategy and execution for the Americas Business Unit.  Worked with Global IT and Distribution Leadership to implement SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS). Participate in Logistics Council team meetings and planning sessions to identify and support Shure's Strategy and Company objectives. Responsibilities: o Supervises the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, repackaging, value added services and shipping products. o Helps to develop RDC budget and operate within given budget. o Supervises the cost, quality, quantity, and efficiency of the storage and movement of Company products o Plans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities. o Lifecycle management including excess and obsolete inventory monitoring and disposition. o Reviews invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts in order to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. o Analyzes logistical problems, developing new solutions that support efforts to increase business growth. o Exposure to negotiating and/or arbitrating with some suppliers and customers. o Schedules and monitors air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. o Interviews, selects, and trains warehouse and supervisory personnel. o Confers with department heads such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing to coordinate warehouse activities regarding receiving, shipping, transportation, layout and Inventory accuracy. o Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. o Inspects physical conditions of warehouse and equipment. Schedules maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary. o Develops and documents standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials. o Demonstrates knowledge of international logistics, import/export responsibilities and traffic management. o Education, certification and safety procedures required for warehouse operations o Manage Amazon shipping performance and requirements o Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.  Graduate coursework is desirable.  o Minimum of 7 years of wide-ranging experience in strategic planning and transport of products with responsibility for results, including costs and methods. o Demonstrated ability of working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. o Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives. o Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams. o Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. o Able to develop and administers schedules, and establish performance requirements o Experience with preparing and adhering to a budget o Able to provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. o Experience with advising subordinates how to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. o Very knowledgeable of the industry, market dynamics, competitors and products. o Working knowledge of SAP warehouse management, order management, and demand/supply planning o Global business experience is helpful o Previous experience implementing Warehouse Management o Familiar with Amazon shipping requirements o Responsible for staffing, and performance review of staff. 3149

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
