The Company is looking for highly qualified individuals to come work for a multi-billion-dollar organization. The position involves contributing both as an individual and as part of a team in delivering consumer products processing projects and will participate on cross-functional business teams interacting with plant management team members, plant team members, vendors, customers, and other functions.
Working in a participative team based environment, using World Class Operations processes and principles, the Senior Engineer provides day-to-day engineering technical expertise to Operating Departments as needed. Leads the design and implementation of complex site based capital and manufacturing improvement projects. Participates on teams as an expert in the discipline and can work with minimal management oversight. Evaluates the feasibility of manufacturing, packaging, and process systems improvements and modifications. Through leadership and influence will lead project teams and other cross-functional teams to deliver capital projects, manufacturing process improvements, and solve manufacturing problems. Manages and directs the work of outside engineering consultants and construction contractors during design and implementation of projects.

Proactively identify and solve packaging, process, and plant utility system problems by using plant, company, and external resources
Lead cost savings initiatives across the site and help to reduce plant spending
Technical Leader and Business Ownership/Plant Strategies
Provides solid input and insight to the team on business and engineering needs and proposals
Support and drive regulatory compliance
Manage projects in accordance with Project Management Standards to achieve required results, timing, and budgetary targets
Good business judgment with ability to calibrate with business objectives
Demonstrated ability to achieve quality results and meet deadlines & Solid analytical skills
Excellent presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences
Understanding of Continuous Improvement Methodology preferred
Years and Type of Experience:
5+ years of engineering experience
Experience with capital projects
Ability to effectively document and communicate technical information
Background in consumer packaged goods environment preferred
WCO / WCM / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniques preferred
Utilization of Engineering Standards
Familiar with AutoCAD and SAP
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Skills and Abilities:
Electrical Power System Maintenance
Electric/ pneumatic / Hydraulic controls
Familiarity with utility systems such as Steam Boilers and Air Compressors
Experience with control valves, actuators and positioners and all field instrumentation
Experience selecting instrumentation based on application
Problem solving, data collection, and analysis skills preferred
Familiarity with Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) & Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
Experience developing/designing control panels which house PLC/DCS systems.
Experience developing/designing Control System Architectures
Experience in Process Systems, Facility Systems
Experience developing sequence of operations and test procedures
System migration from different control platforms
PLC Controls Experience, such as AB, Control Logix, PLC5, SLC500
HMI Development Experience, SCADA and Ethernet
Experience in process batch and discrete manufacturing
Experience with development of Control System Function Design Specifications (FDS)
Education Level/Degree:
Engineering Degree (BSEE)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
