CNC Technician / Trainer

VINSTON US Corp is seeking a CNC Technician/ Trainer to join our team in Wheeling, IL.
VINSTON US Corp is the distribution and support center for all VINSTON products for North America. American owned and operated, we offer customers technical support, hands on training and demonstrations.
The CNC Technician/Trainer will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a VINSTON Wire Former/Bender (willing to train) & JYF CNC Coilers; maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies. The CNC Technician/Trainer must be willing to travel for work (domestic and international). A passport is required.
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer sites for onsite training and technical support
Relay customer technical issues to manufacturer for resolution
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
Programs machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
Take measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Requirements:
Must be willing to travel for work, sometimes outside of the U.S.A.; Passport required
CNC experience is preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
