You will be responsible for installing and replacing air vending systems (for filling tires and vacuuming automobiles) primarily at convenience store and service station locations. The RequirementsTo meet the basic qualifications for the role of Installer for our Air Division, you will have a:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

In addition, to be a good fit for the role of Air Equipment Installer, you also should have:

  • Basic mechanical & electrical understanding

  • PC literacy and openness to learning in-house and other systems; experience with media device and/or smartphone is preferred

  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver heavy equipment; most equipment weighs over 500 lbs., but you will be able to use a mobile crane and/or a forklift to help you  Quick question for you - click here

  • Forklift certification preferred. You can obtain forklift certification at our cost after hire if you don't already have it

You will work a 40 hour, Monday through Friday work week, and may occasionally have the opportunity for overtime (over 40 hours). Your days will be varied based upon the schedule of deliveries. One day you might work 12 hours and the next 6. You could work four 10 hour days and have Friday off. You will have weekend work occasionally, but it will be limited. In other words, flexibility in your schedule will be critical to your success.

The RoleRole Overview
Reporting to the Air Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving a company van and trailer to deliver, install and/or remove air vending equipment throughout your assigned region. Quick question for you - click here This role requires a good deal of driving. You could go as far out as 5.5 hours or spend a day locally, depending upon need. You could go approximately 150 miles out from the branch, including into Georgia. Most days you will be installing one or two air vending systems, but you could install as many as four when travel is light. You will work with a variety of machines, including air only, air and vacuum, coin operated, card operated and more. Machines range in size from small to taller than a person.
Day in the Life
You'll start and end each day in the branch, except during the times when you may be required to stay overnight in a location (sites on the edge of the territory or when covering vacation or absence in another territory). For the most part, you'll work with air vending systems but could work with other equipment as well. You may be installing equipment for a brand new customer, removing outdated equipment, or installing updated replacement equipment. 
As an installer, you will have an opportunity to create the CSC experience by building customer relationships. You are most likely the first contact with CSC customers. Taking pride in your work, showing customers your professionalism in working with installs, and representing CSC in the best possible way makes your job especially important in delivering a positive experience. Additionally, once an installation is complete, you could provide some training to your customers to ensure they understand how the machine works so in turn they can assist their customers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
