PC TECHNICIAN / IT Support Administrator
Reports to: Director of Information Technology

Overview:

Growth opportunity for a motivated PC Technician with the potential to be groomed into a Junior Network Administrator role. Seeking someone motivated who is looking to prove themselves with potential for advancement.
Newly created role supporting the Director of IT with information technology policies, technical support, programs, and business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services.

Minimum Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. 4 Years PC Technician experience including adding users to the network, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of Windows OS, Connectivity and Applications.
4. Ability to train employees on our distribution software application as well as Microsoft software.
5. Excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
6. Ability to relate to employees at different levels within the Distribution Centers and Corporate Office.

Responsibilities:
Supports the Director of IT in computing and information technology policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management informati
Assist Director of IT to prepare enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information.
Support Director of IT in interactions with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information.
Assist with all back-up and maintenance procedures for software and hardware.
Manage new, current and terminated employee access to the network.
Responsible for company email provisioning, group email set-up, and related administration.
Responsible for Corporate Office telephone system administration, including voice mailbox provisioning and group voice mail set-up.
Manage communication outages, including electrical and Telco lines.
Participate in disaster recovery procedures and plans
Support, train and guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts.
Assist customers and vendors with questions related to our technology systems and capabilities
Responsible for calculating and entering contract pricing and item deletion in distribution system. Manage system errors.
Create system reports for company personnel and customers.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically performed in an office work environment.
Limited physical lifting
Work involves near continuous use of computer terminal
