76/hr The Sanitation Operator will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitation of production areas, supplies, tools and equipment.
This job will also maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and outdoor premises.
The Sanitation Operator will be expected to work with production leadership to improve cleanliness and sanitation efforts.
In this role, you will:
Maintain facility and surrounding area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and recognized Food Safety Standards.
Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility, ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of safety practices; comply with all health, safety, security and emergency requirements.
Operate cleaning equipment including but not limited to:
floor scrubber, soap foaming station, vacuum etc.
Responsible for cleaning production equipment; requiring some disassembling and reassembling.
Maintain accurate cleaning and sanitation documentation as needed and required as outlined by the Master Cleaning and Sanitation Schedule.
Work with chemicals and follow chemical usage labels for application and PPEs.
Keep work area and equipment neat, clean and properly stored.
Performs other duties or special projects as required by the Manager or Supervisor.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/work for hours at a time, work at high elevations, cold or hot temperatures, and be comfortable with dressing in rain suit.

Participate and thoroughly understand sanitation training for all areas.
Must be quick to learn and adapt to different situations and or equipment.
Must be dependable and willing to work weekends as well as night shifts.
Minimum of one year of industrial work experience.
Must understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with a team.
Operate equipment within specifications.
