Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the mission and vision of North Shore College.
Conduct the course in person, ON CAMPUS in Wheeling IL (NO distance learning classes) Conduct A&P II (100 hour) course with Monday through Friday classes from 9am till 2:
30 pm for morning sessions, AND/OR 6pm till 10pm for the evening sessions.
Conduct Didactic and Lab components.
Conduct Math for Nursing (48 hour) course with once a week class.
Maintains a professional, positive and respectful demeanor at all times, especially while teaching.
Effectively imparts relevant knowledge to all students, maintains fairness and equality Record and submit attendance daily.
Include comments for absent students on attendance roster Preparing course plans and materials Conducts Classroom instructions (may include laboratory and clinical excursion) Works with students at all levels of the curriculum Select appropriate methods of instruction and develop teaching materials to assist the student in achieving the course outcomes.
Construct exams and assignments to evaluate student learning.
Encourage students to seek the instructor's help and work willingly and tactfully with those students experiencing difficulty in mastery of subjects taught.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned Identifies at risk students so additional help may be assigned by the Academic Dean in the form of tutoring Participates in Faculty Development Education:
Medical Doctor or Masters in Anatomy & Physiology 1 Year Teaching Anatomy &Physiology in Practical Nursing Program (Preferred) 1 Year Teaching Math 101 or equivalent (Preferred) Job Type:
