The primary function of the Picker-Packer is picking and packing the order to customer requirements and ensuring consistently high levels of productivity, accuracy, safety awareness.
Duties and responsibilities Pick orders as needed Review customer orders for accuracy Follow packing and special instructions Obtain the proper packing materials, skid and carton Make carton as required Assemble cartons needed for order Verify that correct stock is in the designated locations(s) Count correct number of sheets to complete the picking line.
Carefully lift sheets out of primary picking location/ Scan the location.
Carefully place the correct number of product sheets into carton without scuffing the face surface of the product Inspect product while picking Cull any seconds or straightening boards from product and deposit these materials to the proper location Complete all packing instructions Qualifications & Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills Job Type:
